IP

IP is the native currency of Story. This token is used to pay gas for transactions, and is emitted by the protocol as a reward to validators (and by extension their delegators).

vIP

vIP is the liquid-staked derivative token for Verio. Users can stake IP to receive vIP in return. Verio then collects and automatically re-stakes IP rewards from these delegations. This means that the value of vIP relative to IP accrues over time, based on these rewards.
