Variable Maturity Rate Staking
Story offers four distinct staking durations for delegators. Each of these delegation durations has an associated stake weight multiplier. The current multipliers can be found in Story's staking design document. To quote Story:
users can only call unstake after the staking period is mature. Any call earlier than the mature day will be discarded. Unstaking from a mature staking period is still subject to the unbonding process, meaning users will get their staked tokens back after 14 days of unbonding time.
At the time of writing, the durations and multipliers are as follows:

540 days
2.0x
This means that a stake for 1024 IP in the Long duration is treated as if it were 2048 IP when delegation rewards are calculated.
