Minimum Stake Threshold

The minimum stake amount on Story is 1024 IP, mostly for preventing small spam stakes to validators. This doesn’t pose a problem for whales, but small retail users may not have enough IP to even stake. Verio fixes this problem with a shared staking pool. Users can stake as little as 0.001 IP (at the time of writing). The IP will sit in this shared pool, and Verio will stake the entire pool to validators when it reaches the defined delegation size. This enables all users to participate in this staking system, further protecting and securing the network. Note that users will still receive vIP immediately upon staking.

Unstaking and Re-Delegation Fees

Story charges a spam prevention fee for all unstaking and redelegate operations. Verio subsidizes this fee from delegation rewards, so users do not pay to unstake.
