IP Asset Tipping

Commemorative NFTs

Verio allows users to tip IP asset creators by minting a commemorative NFT of their favorite IP assets in our catalog. Commemorative NFTs snapshot a user's interaction on Verio. Each will maintain its mint order, so tippers can show off how early they were, or how many total tips they have sent.

Tip Distribution

Tips are distributed primarily to the IP asset creator. For convenience, Verio converts all tipped IP to a valid revenue token before sending it directly to the royalty vault associated with the IP asset. Note that an IP asset with non-commerical license will not have a royalty vault, so the yield will be sent directly to the IP asset owner address. A portion of the tip is also offered back to the IP asset's staking pool as an incentive for other stakers. The current tip distribution is as follows:
